Promat DURASTEEL^®

DURASTEEL^® was first produced in 1934 and has had a proven and tested history. Typically used to construct high performance fire seperation walls, blast ceilings, 4 hour fire rated enclosures and ductwork. DURASTEEL^® has been used extensively in the construction of many key installations all over the world, including nuclear power and reprocessing establishments, underground transit systems, military installations, commercial and industrial buildings and airport terminals. 

DURASTEEL^® is a composite panel of fibre reinforced cement, mechanically bonded to pierced galvanised sheets on each side and is installed as a self finished product supported on a galvanised steel framework. 

DURASTEEL^® provides up to 4 hours fire protection, from a 9.5mm thick board. The systems are engineered for fast track construction, they require no foundations and there are no wet trades involved in their installation. 

DURASTEEL^® systems are strong and impact resistant with a lightweight slimline construction, they also have a maintenance free, fully galvanised construction.
